How this check works
Shipwork reads the price of every product in your public catalogue where one is exposed, and the price and currency in your product page markup. It flags missing, zero and currency-less prices — the price problems that lead to disapproval.
Questions
- Why is a zero price rejected?
- A product with no price, or a zero price, cannot be bought, so it cannot be listed. Placeholder and coming-soon products are the usual culprits.
- What is priceCurrency and why does it matter?
- It names the currency of the price. Without it the value is ambiguous, which can mismatch the feed and confuse listings.
- Can Shipwork see the price in my feed?
- No — the feed is not public. It checks the price on your page and in your public catalogue, which is what Google verifies against.
