Every check, one crawl, any site
Paste any website — a store on any platform, a content site, a SaaS marketing site. Shipwork crawls a sample of your pages from outside your network and runs every check that fits what the site is.
Fetches a bounded sample of public pages, the sitemap and robots.txt. Nothing is stored.
How this works
The audit identifies the platform and what kind of site it is, then runs the checks that apply: reachability, indexation, robots.txt, sitemap health, structured data, canonicals, duplicate content, internal links, trust pages and AI crawler access. A store additionally gets catalogue, price and availability checks. A publisher gets freshness. Every finding names the exact page and the fix.
Questions
- What does this audit check?
- A bounded sample of your key pages runs through every check that fits your site: reachability to an outside crawler, indexation, robots.txt, sitemap health, structured data, canonicals, duplicate content, internal links, trust pages and AI crawler access. Stores also get catalogue, price and availability checks.
- Does it work on any platform?
- Yes. The crawl reads HTML and your sitemap, so it works on Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce and hand-built sites. When a platform exposes a public product list, the catalogue checks get deeper.
- Is anything stored?
- No. The free audit fetches a sample of public pages, reports, and forgets. Only the paid watch keeps a record — that is the point of it.
